About The Street Smarts Junior Board
TSS Junior Board was originally established in October 2019 to mentor scholars from TSS further. The Junior Board members are from all over the country and the world. We have established presences in the San Francisco Bay area, including Davis and Sacramento. We have board members in New York, San Diego, Las Vegas, and greater Los Angeles.

The Street Smarts (TSS) provides students with the tools they need to succeed, fostering a diverse and inclusive community. Through financial education and internships, TSS empowers students to pursue careers in finance and accounting, creating real-world impact and transforming lives.

At The Street Smarts (TSS), we are dedicated to empowering students through financial education and internships. Since 2016, we have been on a journey to provide opportunities for students to learn about finance and accounting, and secure internships and jobs in these fields. With a diverse and inclusive community, we have achieved significant milestones and helped students kickstart their careers.

An informal internship program started at Kingsford Capital under the tutelage of Mike Wilkins, a managing partner.
-Summer of 2014
Founder Michael Campbell started Joyful Noize to help underserved college students discover careers in Finance.
-March 2016
Joyful Noise chooses its first Board of Directors.
-May 2016
Joyful Noize had its first class of 6 interns.
-Summer 2017
Joyful Noize changed its name to The Street Smarts
-December 2017
TSS placed its first accounting interns at PWC.
