Summer Web Finance Program
The Street Smarts is excited to announce our 2nd annual Summer Web Finance Program (SWFP).
SWFP is a FREE, 1 month-long virtual program that invites students to attend presentations and workshops to develop a fundamental understanding of the following industries:
Banking
Commercial Banking
Sales
Trading
Research
Investment Banking
Institutions
Private Equity
Portfolio Management
Research
Students will gain hands-on technical experience in our 3-stage program:
Stage I:
Excel – Pivot Tables, Data Tables, Index Match
Stage II:
Financial Statements – Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, PP&E, Debt Schedule
Stage III:
Financial Modeling – DCF Model
The purpose of the SWFP is to not only educate college students and graduates on the careers that exist within the finance industry but to also expand the quality of their application alongside their qualifications.
Last year, we had 196 official participants because we offer extensive networking opportunities with our diverse network of speakers. This year, we are planning to host over 500 participants due to our hands-on activities.
The duration of the program is August 3rd – September 3rd, 2021. Tuesday and Friday, 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm PST. Upon completion of the program, students will receive a certificate of completion, signed by our CEO and Board Coordinator. For questions or concerns, please text this number: (925)-320-1632
