I wanted to share Luis Cortes’ LinkedIn post announcing his internship at Shea & Company.
I couldn’t be happier to announce that I will be joining Shea & Company as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst! Not long ago, I started my journey at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business excited because I knew that this opened the opportunity for me to pursue my dream career in investment banking.
After a long recruiting season full of late nights sending out applications, networking, preparing for interviews, traveling back & forth across country, skipping classes for recruiting events (while still getting decent grades), receiving offers, and of course the countless rejections.
It was clear to me after my 8 interviews with the firm, that I have never felt so genuinely welcomed and valued by an organization. I am extremely grateful for this amazing opportunity and for the firms ability to continue its internship program despite the ongoing pandemic. Fun fact, I received the offer call just 2 hours after I left the Boston office while I was visiting my dream school (Harvard Business School).
