We would like to welcome Frank Zhang (B.A. Economics, UC Berkeley, ’17) as one of our newest addition to the Board of Directors of The Street Smarts (TSS). Frank Zhang first joined TSS in 2016 mentoring some of our interns. During college, he was a part of an investment club and volunteered with several sustainability groups on campus. Frank was a research intern at Kingsford Capital in 2014 and 2015 where he as a part of the birth of Street Smarts.
Currently, he works at Dodge & Cox, a value-oriented mutual fund based in San Francisco. In his role as a Senior Equity Research Associate, he works on discovering undervalued stocks globally, with an emphasis on the IT hardware, payment, and IT services industries. Outside of work, aside from his involvement in TSS, Frank likes to go on hikes, read books on history or investments, and explore restaurants throughout the bay area.

The Street Smarts (TSS) is an Oakland based nonprofit founded in June of 2016 aimed at introducing finance to groups of youth from historically underserved communities. Today, TSS offers services to students that include informational sessions on financial topics, on-site tours to financial and educational institutions, internship placement and more.
