Michael D. Campbell is a Social Entrepreneur with a passion for helping youth reach their fullest potential. He graduated from Bradley University May 17, 1980 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Finance.He is a former member and Chair of Alameda County Public Health Commission.Michael Campbell gives enormous amounts of credit to his mentor and role model, his father Frank Campbell. Campbell’s father was the 1st Executive Director and President of the Peoria Tri-County Urban League in 1965.
Nicol Blakely is a graduate of The University of California-Berkeley where she majored in Sociology. Nicol is our branding expert. She has enhanced our logo and developed an intranet for TSS. She set up G- Suite for use by our board. She is currently employed at Blue Shield in San Francisco where she is UX lead Mobile.

Frank Zhang (B.A. Economics, UC Berkeley, ’17) is one of our newest additions to the Board of Directors of The Street Smarts (TSS). Frank Zhang first joined TSS in 2016 mentoring some of our interns. Frank was a research intern at Kingsford Capital in 2014 and 2015 where he was a part of the birth of Street Smarts.
Currently, he works at Dodge & Cox, a value-oriented mutual fund based in San Francisco. In his role as a Senior Equity Research Associate, he works on discovering undervalued stocks globally, with an emphasis on the IT hardware, payment, and IT services industries.
Prior to joining Aura, Paola worked as an investment management associate at Goldman Sachs. Paola earned her M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton where she graduated on the Director’s List Honors. She also holds an M.Ed in Education Policy from the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education.
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area and of Salvadorian descent, Paola graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in Political Economics. She is a proud Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT), UC Berkeley Public Policy and International Affairs (PPIA) and Robert F. Toigo Foundation fellow, alumna and volunteer. She serves as a trustee on the boards of Leadership High School, LatinaVIDA, and The Street Smarts in Oakland.
